"FRIENDS ALONG THE WAY" Robert Goldsworthy 500th Bomb Group Brigadier General USAF (Retired) A special friend. We were both POW�s in Omori POW facility. He helped me survive in those difficult days in 1945. We came to US Together in October 1945 after liberation.

Ambassador Mike Mansfield at U.S Embassy, Tokyo. He was of great help in setting up my initial return trip to Tokyo in 1984.

Chase Nielsen, Navigator, crew 6 of Doolittle mission in April 1942. he was captured and POW in China and in Kempei Tai, Tokyo. In 1945 I occupied same cage he was in in 1942. He had scratched name in wooden cage.
